We believe in not only making our clients healthy, but our neighbors healthy as well. That’s why FruitRevival donates hundreds of pounds of fresh fruit each week to Denver food shelters. How does that work? Well, it’s pretty simple. Our fruit packers here at FruitRevival only put 100% perfect, delicious fruits and vegetables into our clients’ boxes. This means we have some pieces leftover that didn’t quite make the cut (but are no less healthy or delicious!).

We then donate this fresh, delicious (but not visually flawless) produce to two fabulous Denver organizations each and every week. Even though we consider ourselves to be pretty cool, we think non-profits like We Don’t Waste and Metro Caring are REALLY cool! Before we tell you about them, we hope you know that the more fruit we deliver to you, the more we can help eliminate the hunger that some Colorado families face every day. Those efforts mean a lot to us, so thank you!

We Don’t Waste

As an innovative provider of food for the hungry, We Don’t Waste collects excess food from venues, caterers, restaurants and other food purveyors, and distributes it to Denver’s under-served populations. We Don’t Waste’s efforts augment existing food and supplies needed by community-based non-profit agencies through high quality protein and produce, along with wholesome, nutritional and varied “restaurant-grade” foods. We Don’t Waste is recognized by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s U.S. Food Waste Challenge as a food recover organization.

"Fruit Revival is a valuable and responsible partner of We Don’t Waste, providing nutritious and delicious alternatives of fresh fruits, vegetables and healthy snacks to those less fortunate in our community. We congratulate Fruit Revival for joining with We Don’t Waste in sharing the responsibility of finding solutions to hunger and reducing food waste.   Arlan Preblud, Executive Director at We Don’t Waste

Metro Caring

Denver’s leading hunger-relief organization works to meet people’s immediate need for food while also addressing the root causes of their hunger and poverty. Using a multifaceted approach, Metro Caring is an innovative leader in addressing problems related to hunger, with programming offered in Healthy Foods Access, Nutrition/Gardening Education, Self-Sufficiency and Community Health Services.

Recycle and Reuse

Not only does FruitRevival eliminate waste by donating leftover produce, we also pride ourselves in recycling 100% of all cardboard packing materials that come through our warehouse. Each week our team delivers fruit and picks up the empty boxes for reuse. This process helps keep our costs low and our community as healthy as possible!
